Designed for 4-6 year olds but fun for anyone aged 3+
What your child will gain
- Your child will be introduced to life lessons such as perseverance and patience, helping to build their emotional resilience and prepare them for a world that can be scary and comparable.
- Have access to online resources through our parent guide emails so you can explore the life lesson in more depth.
- Spend quality time together as a family whilst also supporting Helen & Douglas House, children’s hospice.
How it works
Set up your monthly or annual donation to Helen & Douglas House. You can cancel at any time.
Your box will wiggle its way to you once a month for 12 months. Please allow 5-10 working days for delivery from sign-up.
Each box is based on a different life lesson such as helping others and gratitude. We introduce your child to the life lesson through our 12 page story booklet which is set in the world of Caterpillar and his friends.
After reading the story your child can have fun reflecting on the life lesson through the activities we provide such as making a kite or playing bingo.
Before your box arrives you will receive a parent guide email detailing that month’s life lesson. The email includes helpful resources and gives you ideas on how to approach the life lesson from films to watch as a family or articles for you to read. You’ll also get a list of any items that might be needed for the upcoming activities.
